Classroom, Home School, After-School Curricula Support
___
| The EarthBox Standards-based Support Curriculum’s use of guided inquiry to discover the science behind the sustainable EarthBox® Container Garden System, plants, light, water, soil and nutrition brings science to life in the classroom, and in the garden. The system’s controlled environment demonstrates capillary action, diffusion and conservation to the youngest of students, while middle and high school students utilize the controlled environment to perform authentic experiments. Cross-content lessons teach the interconnectivity and interdependence of life on the planet. This knowledge motivates students to become responsible stewards of their environment. The repetitive use of the container as a teaching tool and continued focus on the same content areas from Pre K-12th grade facilitates the systematic development of skill sets leaving no child left behind. |
